The photos show Pfc E3 Desmond "Ted" Bonnington, and his classic auto of the time, outside the barracks of 580th Engineer Company, 40th Artillery Group, at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, on a Saturday in January 1958, the day after an unusually heavy snowstorm in northern Alabama. |
