January 13, 2009 Added a fifth YouTube player to Page 16 Appendix D: Redstone Videos. This player contains a four-part video with narration showing the Redstone Block II trainer missile operation conducted by Battery A, 2nd Missile Battalion, 333rd Artillery, 46th Artillery Group outside Neckarsulm, Germany in October, 1960.
January 24, 2009 Added 2 very interesting photos sent to me by Ted Bonnington to the Slide Show 40th Artillery Group Folder Page 2. The photos show Pfc E3 Desmond "Ted" Bonnington, and his classic auto of the time, outside the barracks of 580th Engineer Company, 40th Artillery Group, at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, on a Saturday in January 1958, the day after an unusually heavy snowstorm in northern Alabama.
January 28, 2009 Added the 2 photos sent to me by Ted Bonnington, along with Ted's comments about 580th Engineer Company duty at Redstone Arsenal in 1957 and 1958 to the Addendum: Page 11.

Added 1 photo sent to me by Ted Bonnington to the Slide Show 40th Artillery Group Folder Page 2. The photo shows Pfc E3 Karl Kappler outside the barracks of 580th Engineer Company, 40th Artillery Group, at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, on a Saturday in January 1958, the day after an unusually heavy snowstorm in northern Alabama.

March 29, 2009 Added a photo of a news article sent to me by Rodrigo Gebhard to the Slide Show Bad Kreuznach Folder Page 5. The article appeared in Rodrigo's local Bad Kreuznach newspaper on March 11, 2009, marking the 47th anniversary of the cermony redesignating the five American housing areas with the names of German composers.

This player contains a four-part video rendition of the US Army's popular TV show of the late 1950's, "The Big Picture" depicting the events surrounding the launch of the USA's first satellite, Explorer 1 aboard a modified Redstone missile, the Jupiter-C.

One photo is of the night launch on March 8, 1961 of Redstone missile CC-2040. The other 2 photos show Redstone missiles RS-50 and RS-51 that were used in the Project Hartack nuclear tests.

October 24, 2009 Added 6 photos taken by Ron Smith at Kuhberg upon his return to Bad Kreuznach on 16 August 2009, 48 years after leaving Battery A, 40th Artillery Group, to the Slide Show Des Gouttes Kaserne and Kuhberg Folder Page 3. I also added 2 composite panorama shots made from Ron's photos to the page. These show the overall field location where our Redstone missile operations were conducted, and the spot where the missile launcher was always emplaced.

The photo was sent to me by Richard Burnham who served in 580th Engineers from July 1963 to June 1964. Supporting technical specifications were provided by Desmond Bonnington.
