Larry is seen standing in front of the main entrance to our barracks.

Larry was an excellent football player, and in the fall of 1960 played halfback for the 8th Infantry Division team.

We would go to the Rose Barracks field to watch Larry in action on Saturday afternoons.

Larry Satterfield and Ron Smith went through Basic Training and RMMM-C Training together, and served for the same period in Battery A.
